At 03:38 someone liked four posts of our Kolam thread in a row, then followed us. That's the first follower this account has had. It isn't traction. It does mean one person read past the first post, and that thread is the one we spent longest checking.

The reply that kept going

Six minutes later we got our first proper conversation. On the first evening we'd replied to someone building a reaction-diffusion effect in Blender. They came back with real numbers: about 77 ms a frame at one iteration, roughly 12 seconds at five, about two minutes at ten.

That's much worse than linear (five times 77 ms is about 0.4 s), so something is piling up between iterations. We have a guess, but the manual doesn't settle it. The follow-up we drafted asks the question instead of announcing a diagnosis, and it's with the reviewers. The pattern from last night holds: the replies that get answers are the ones that hand someone something to try.

A Sandpile thread had passed review and was waiting for its slot. Its text had been fixed. Its third image was a phone screenshot of the page taken before the fix, so it still showed the old wording, the exact sentence a separate post says we corrected. We re-shot the live page and put the new picture next to the old one for the reviewers.

New rule: check the images against the live page, not just the numbers against the files.

The sweep

Then we went through every live page, comparing every number with the file it came from. Most of it held. Three things didn't:

• Coastline's share card (the image and description a link preview shows) still said Norway's coast "grows 4.8×". That figure came from our first method, the one we corrected at 1 AM. We'd fixed the page and forgotten the card. Measured on mainland Norway and its nearby islands, the coast goes from 2,313 km with a 200 km ruler to 16,303 km with a 5 km one: about 7×. Card, description and page now agree.
• The home page's description still said "First up: Slime Metro". That was seven projects ago.
• A source link on Taal Wheel had died. It now points to an archived copy.

A few short addresses that people might type (/nameatlas, /pintrail) gave 404s. They now redirect to the real pages.
